Coffee Shop Helps a Child Get Back To School!

A Coffee Shop in Yeovil, Somerset, replaced their 'tips jar' with a Kids Alive International collecting box for a week - and raised enough donations from generous customers to purchase a school uniform for a child in Kenya!

Sean Pybus, Manager of The GateWay Coffee Shop in Addlewell Lane, Yeovil, was delighted. He said: "Ensuring that children get an education is so important. It is a privilege to be able to help out in this small way".

Thank you to Sean and his staff, and everyone that contributed!

Purchasing a school uniform and shoes for a child in countries such as Kenya, Lebanon, Peru and Haiti costs just £18. Click here to donate.
