Sponsor Jayden through school in the quarry region of Karundas, Kenya
Jayden is a bright and enthusiastic 6-year-old boy from Kenya who dreams of becoming a teacher one day. Riding tyres is Jayden’s favourite activity, bringing lots of joy and energy to each day. Jayden loves dogs, enjoys swimming, and does especially well in language class. Mukimo is a favourite food, and brown is a favourite colour, reflecting a warm and thoughtful personality. Your sponsorship will enable Jayden to continue at our school and help support his incredibly poor family. For privacy reasons, we have blurred this image of Jayden, but we will provide a clear photo should you decide to sponsor him.
Why Jayden needs you to sponsor him

Jayden is from one of Kenya’s poorest rural regions called Karundas. Every day is a struggle to find food, with many vulnerable children having no choice but to work all day to be fed, typically in the vast quarries here. No school. No education. No childhood.

Just about all of the children in our school programme have lost at least one parent with 1 in 4 being HIV positive. All live in abject poverty, typically in a shack like this. The more vulnerable they are, the more chance they have of getting into our school.
How your sponsorship will transform Jayden's life

Your sponsorship will fund Jayden’s entire education costs at our Hall Mead School, including free food, trauma counselling and family support. All in a loving Christian environment with daily devotions, Bible studies and prayer.
Thanks to you, no working in the quarries for Jayden!

You will receive twice yearly updates about Jayden and you can send him messages, especially on his birthday and at Christmas (research has shown that children with sponsors tend to do better due to an increased sense of self-worth and general wellbeing).
It’s so rewarding and a great way of supporting one of the world’s most vulnerable children, their family and their community.

Thank you for sponsoring one of the world's most vulnerable children!
