Sponsor Samionarah through school in troubled Haiti and help change her future

Samionarah is an energetic and playful 3-year-old student at our Kids Alive School in Cap-Haïtien. She loves dancing and has a friendly personality that brings joy to those around her. English is her favourite school subject, and she also enjoys playing football. When she grows up, she dreams of becoming a church pastor and is currently working to improve her drawing skills. Your sponsorship will enable her to continue at our school and help support her impoverished family. For privacy reasons, we have blurred this image of Samionarah, but we will provide a clear photo should you decide to sponsor her.

Why Samionarah needs you to sponsor her

Samionarah is from Haiti, one of the world’s poorest countries, with 80% of people living on less than £1.75 per day. Ravaged by natural disasters, political instability, a lack of infrastructure and high inflation, this troubled country seems to go from bad to worse. Violent gangs now run its capital.

According to the World Bank, only 50% of children go to school. And only 45% will be as productive as they could be if they had full access to quality education and healthcare. And as Samionarah has been especially selected because she is one of the most vulnerable ones, it goes to show just how much she needs a child sponsor.

This really is one of the world's worst places for Samionarah to be raised in.

How your sponsorship will transform Samionarah's life

Your sponsorship will fund Samionarah’s entire education at our Kids Alive School, including free food, trauma counselling and more (her family are so poor we also provide weekend food parcels). All in a loving Christian environment with daily devotions, Bible studies and prayer.

You will receive twice yearly updates about Samionarah and you can send her messages, especially on her birthday and at Christmas (research has shown that children with sponsors tend to do better due to an increased sense of self-worth and general wellbeing).

Thank you for sponsoring one of the world's most vulnerable children!
